The goal of this project is to design and build a stand that will help enhance the music quality from loudspeakers. Loudspeaker stands range in different prices, which can be very expensive. The goal is to design stands that will be low cost and simple for people at home to build themselves or to purchase.

Week 2 Post Lab
The group met up to work on the Design Proposal and change everything that Dr. Knight said should be added or fixed. After completing the revised Proposal, it was read over and re-submitted on BbLearn for grading. The team also discussed what would be done during the next lab period.

Week 2 Lab
During the lab period, each group member did research on different topics for the project. Research topics included: what the best kinds of materials would be to use to produce the best sound; different apps on phones that could be used to record frequencies and vibrations; and the prices of actual loudspeaker stands currently for sale. Dr. Knight gave back the Design Proposal to provide feedback on what needs to be changed to improve the report. It was given a new due date for Friday, April 10th at 4pm. The feedback was helpful because it showed where there were errors and what could be added.
